You will
- Work with the Social Media Manager to implement the brand's social media strategy, coordinating with key stakeholders across the Company to ensure effectiveness, consistency, and approvals when necessary
- Assist with social content planning and development for the monthly social media editorial calendar and daily social posts
- Publish and schedule social content for SERVPRO’s social accounts
- Monitor social platforms to keep a pulse of the daily news cycle and identify opportunities to news jack angles for social posts or when we should go “dark” when the news cycle isn’t ideal
- Provide social media support to franchisees who request assistance, as needed
- Work with vendors and agencies to make recommendations on how paid social dollars are allocated and spent
- Create social training and resources to educate franchisees on how to use social to grow their business through in-person presentations, webinars, and blogs.
- Create monthly social analytics reports that show how the brand’s performing against benchmarks and key takeaways we can use to improve social media performance
- Identify interesting/entertaining stories and UGC from the franchise system to leverage on SERVPRO’s corporate social media channels
- Monitor trends in online community tools and applications.
You have
- 3 years of experience in social media marketing for a brand or agency with a true passion and understanding of social media. Must be well versed in emerging and established platforms.
- Strong social media content development skills and experience creating content for brands
- Experience creating social media strategies or plans for clients or brands.
- Exercises judgment to create diplomatic, reasoned written responses to consumer questions and criticisms on social media
- Ability to review and understand complex social media situations
- Enjoy working in a dynamic and efficient team and can easily shift in a new direction.
- Experience working with third-party vendors to develop standard operating procedures and creative asset workflow.
- Comfortable developing and delivering presentations in front of large groups of people.
- Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments on how social media could help achieve their goals, when necessary.
- Experience with social media management tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.
- Experience creating engaging social media content, including text, graphics, and video posts.
- Understanding of the whole digital media ecosystem and the role that social media plays in partnership with media such as Display, Search, SEO, and others.
- Experience with influencer marketing managing relationships and developing programs that deliver on business objectives is a plus
- Graphic design ability is a plus
- Video content production is a plus
- Proficiency in MLA and/or AP style formatting preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or New Media
- Must currently reside in Tennessee or plan to relocate to Tennessee for payroll reasons.
